River Trail’s SPARKS Committee
SPARKS is a PTO initiative that is all about Spreading Positivity and
Acts of Random Kindness in Students. You can sign up your student to
become a SPARKS ambassador at https://forms.gle/HN83524YkPC5wgpm8.
Unlike Junior Beta, SPARKS is open to all students, and is continuously
bringing volunteering opportunities for students to promote kindness
among our community.
On that note, the SPARKS team would like to thank the River Trail
parents who gave breakfast snacks, candy, donuts, cleaning supplies and
their time to make our Bus Driver Appreciation Event so successful! PTO
handed out the handwritten notes and cards from students along with a
goodie bag filled with breakfast items and a gift card. PTO would
like to thank our counseling staff, Ms. Fisher and Ms. Knight, for
bringing the most energy to the celebration! The enthusiasm from the
parents and staff was real, and we hope this event becomes a permanent
tradition that River Trail is known for.
And to top it all, because of the generosity of parents, PTO was able to
include our Police Officers, Cafeteria workers, front office staff and
custodians in the celebration, too! It was a pleasure meeting so many
hardworking individuals who have helped create a safe, clean and
nurturing environment at River Trail. Thank you, Officer Johnson, for
reminding us that it is always better to give than to receive. So dear
parents, have you joined the PTO yet? Let us come together to enrich the
experience for our students and appreciate our staff. -
