Each year our school participates in Digital Citizenship lessons provided by Common Sense Media. Our goal is for our school community to become responsible and ethical users of technology. Students in grades K - 5 will engage in three classroom lessons. All staff members will also engage in an hour of staff development concerning the use of social media and complete a workshop on Security Awareness Online.
We are also providing resources for parents to use with their families at home. Please take a few moments to watch this imformative video!
In addition to these resources, Common Sense Media also offers a free text message tip program. Parents who have children aged 3 - 8 can sign up for this program and receive helpful text messages that concern developing healthy media habits at home with their family.
