The Georgia Department of Education has announced Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Schools for 2022. Recognition of AP Honor Schools began in 2008 with three (3) categories and has expanded to eight (8) categories for 2021. Recognitions for 2022 include 239 schools statewide and can be found on the GaDOE website linked here.
The 2022 AP Honor Schools are named in eight categories based on 2021 AP courses and exams. Fulton schools receiving recognition are included in the corresponding category.
AP Schools of Distinction – 62 statewide
Schools with at least 20 percent of the total student population taking AP exams and at least 50 percent of all AP exams earning scores of 3 or higher.
