The SGC Conference 2019
The School Governance Conference will equip, inspire, and empower council members to lead differently in local school decision-making. Packed with up-to-date information, our workshops will equip members to monitor their strategic plans, inspire members to share their story with community stakeholders, and empower members to leverage resources to support their school initiatives.
Registration is now open. Please make sure to register by Friday, September 6th by 4:00 PM. Keep in mind:
- We encourage at least 3 members from each council to attend
- Breakfast will be served
- Workshops run concurrently during Session 1 and Session 2

Finding the Right Route Using RFFs: RFF Ideas (All SGC members)
A showcase of innovative and successful RFFs from around Fulton County. Learn how schools have shown successes with their waivers through data collection and monitoring. Understand the thought process schools use to overcome challenges.
Harness Good Relationships with Principals (Principals, New and Veteran SGC members)
An intimate chat with district leaders on building candid and open relationships between SGCs and principals. Learn how to focus the work of your council on big picture decision making and avoid the minutiae of day-to-day management.
