Daily Schedule

Students at SSCMS enjoy a seven-period day which includes five academic classes and two connections classes.

The five academic classes include:

• Language Arts
• Reading or World Language
• Math
• Social Studies
• Science

Students participate in two different Connections classes every nine weeks.
These classes include:

• Band*
• Orchestra*
• Broadcasting/Communications
• Engineering/Tech Systems
• Visual Arts
• Health
• General Music
• Physical Education
• AVID (7th & 8th grades)*

*yearlong course

Students participating in a yearlong course will have that course and one other Connections class every nine weeks.
