121 Reach Program
Do you need extra help with your assignments? 121 Reach is here to help!
In this program, CHS students will tutor TRMS students in any subject in which they need help. We are starting virtually and had our first meeting through Teams Monday 9/14. If you would like to join the next meeting (4:30 - 5:30 PM on Mondays), please click on the link to join the team. There will also be a place in the Team to ask the CHS students questions during the week about your assignments. This is a great opportunity to get some extra help, so don't miss out!

Academic Bowl Updates
Please use this link to sign up for Academic Bowl club. This club is generally only open to 7th and 8th grade students, but if you’re a 6th grader and would like to join, Mrs. Palermo and Ms. Holloway will be happy to allow you to tryout.
Signups must be complete by Tuesday, 10/27 at 4:00PM. Our first meeting to discuss club norms and practices will be on Thursday, 10/29. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive an invite to the club TEAM.
Club members are asked to donate $50 for membership dues to cover the cost of tournaments, question packets, and other club materials. We will not be ordering shirts this year as the club and all tournaments will be fully virtual.
Please email Ms. Holloway (email@example.com) with any questions.
We look forward to a great year!

The Taylor Road Debate Club is a free, youth-led club in which Chattahoochee High School Students introduce 8th grade students to Policy Debate. Policy Debate is a form of debate in which teams of two argue for and against a resolution that calls for policy change. Our CHS debate instructors are highly-qualified. The Hooch Debate team has received numerous honors at the local, state, and national levels. In addition, most of the instructors are former TRMS students, which allows them to bring a unique perspective as they work with our middle-school students. Activities might include lessons on Policy Debate, topic research, and practice spreading (or talking fast to get point across). Students will also hear proper debates and learn how to flow (use shorthand to keep track of arguments). Finally, students will participate in mock debates, arguing topics like apple vs android.
Currently, this club is for 8th graders only, but we may take 7th graders in the Spring. We meet virtually Mondays 4:30-5:30. If you are an interested 8th grade student email Mrs. Nancy Lockwood for questions and/or the TEAM’s code to join (firstname.lastname@example.org)
