Administrator Responsibilities

At Taylor Road MS, we believe each child has the ability to make a positive difference in the world. As an administrative team, we help students meet their fullest potential emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically in a safe and supportive environment. Education is the key to success. In partnership with students, parents, educators and the community, we help to create responsible, respectful, caring, and accountable citizens.
Principal
Mr. Kelly Parker began his service at Taylor Road MS as an Assistant Principal in 2009; he was named Principal in June 2018. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of South Dakota and his Masters of Education in English at Kennesaw State University. Mr. Parker has been with Fulton County Schools since 1999. Before coming to Fulton, Mr. Parker began his teaching career in South Dakota at Vermillion HS teaching English and coaching debate. He moved to Roosevelt HS in Sioux Falls, SD -- teaching language arts and also directing the debate program in 1995. He moved to Georgia and began the debate program at Centennial HS in Roswell. After thirteen years as a debate coach and teacher, he was named Assistant Principal at Chattahoochee High School. He served for three years at CHS before joining Taylor Road Middle School. Assistant Principal – 6th Grade
Ms. Martha Patorgis has been a part of FCS for many years and has been an Assistant Principal at River Trail Middle School and Roswell North Elementary School prior to coming to TRMS. She started in the classroom as a special education teacher then moved on to become an Instructional Support Teacher over special education. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and her Master's Degree at Georgia State University. She is so excited to be a part of the Taylor Road Middle School family! Assistant Principal -- 8th Grade
Mr. Ronald Huggins has been a member of the Taylor Road Middle School family as an eighth grade history teacher and Administrative Assistant since 2014. Prior to joining the staff at Taylor Road, Mr. Huggins served as an Assistant Principal in Richmond, Virginia for five years and as a middle school history teacher for 16 years. He has over 27 years of experience in education. Mr. Huggins has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Virginia Union University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He is married and is the proud dad to twins who are students at Kennesaw State University. Mr. Huggins is excited to continue working with the administrative team at Taylor Road Middle School and looks forward to working with all stakeholders in the Taylor Road community. Assistant Administrators
Ms. Leslie Baker has been a member of the TRMS faculty since 1996. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona and master's degree from Emory University. Using her love of mathematics, Ms. Baker is involved in our goal of using data to drive decisions and instruction. Ms. Baker is a retired math teacher and TAG department chair and is currently working part-time as member of the TRMS administrative team. She enjoys being able to provide support to our teachers and families and is proud to be a part of the community. Her children are alumni of Taylor Road Middle School and Chattahoochee High School. Currently her son holds a doctoral degree and is a professor of jazz at Utah Valley University. Her daughter is pursuing a medical degree.
