Services Offered

Core Curriculum Classroom Lessons: Large group, classroom lessons designed to teach topics that will help students succeed academically, socially, and with their future career choice. These lessons are delivered to all students.
Small Groups: Students meet in a smaller setting to learn skills and strategies on topics such as resiliency, social awareness, friendship, self-esteem, anxiety, test taking or changing families. Students receive this service through parent or teacher referral. Small groups are not considered group therapy.
Consultation: Parents and teachers meet with the counselor to share strategies that support student achievement.
Individual Student Planning: Students meet one-on-one with the counselor to discuss personal concerns and share good news. Activities are designed to assist students in establishing personal goals, making decisions and developing immediate and long-range plans for school success. Referrals can be made by students, teachers or parents. Individual Student Planning is not considered therapy.
