Georgia Department of Education Surveys
-
Several surveys are administered annually by the Georgia Department of Education, which are not the same as Fulton's Annual Perception Survey.
The Georgia Student Health Survey (GSHS) is an anonymous, statewide survey instrument created by the Georgia Department of Education in collaboration with other state partners. The GSHS is administered online annually to students in grades 3-12. Middle and high school students (grades 6-12) participate in the standard survey, and elementary students (grades 3-5) participate in an abbreviated survey. Survey results assist in the identification of safety, climate, and health issues that impact student achievement and help guide school prevention and intervention strategies. All of these surveys can be viewed by visiting the GADOE website.
The Georgia DOE parent survey has a parent participation component that can influence the CCRPI rating each school receives.
Access to these Georgia surveys began November 1, 2023, and continued until December 15, 2023. Once available, the district's survey response data will be made visible to the public via the Fulton County Schools Balanced Scorecard, a robust online dashboard for district and local school data.
