River Trail is excited to announce the return of 121 Reach Club. 121 Reach is a nonprofit organization that offers tutoring and mentoring to middle school students by high school students. 121 Reach is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. There is no cost to join. This year, mentoring sessions will be held virtually and tutees can schedule meetings at any time after school. In order to participate, parents and students need to register using this link: https://tinyurl.com/121ReachMS  Once the registration link is filled out, students need to join the TEAMs page using the code cxapbgu. After joining the 121 Reach TEAM, a tutor will reach out to the student to schedule the first session. A parent or guardian must be present throughout the meeting to maintain supervision. Please email Sarah Roberson at robersons1@fultonschools.org if you have any questions.

When you need to check out your child early, you have two options to inform the school:OPTION 1 Send an email to 701SignOut@fultonschools.org with the following information:  Student Name, Student FCS ID Number (lunch number), Parent/Guardian Name of person picking up your child, Parent/Guardian Email & Phone Number, Time and Reason for Early Check out OR OPTION 2 Send in a handwritten note with the same information as in Option 1. Instruct your child to bring the note to the Front Office to show to the staff. Arrival at the school when picking up: On the day you come to school to pick up your child, please buzz the front office. Inform the staff the reason you are at school. Please hold up driver’s license to the camera so that the staff can verify your identity. Once your identity is confirmed, the staff will send your child outside to meet you at the front. If you show up to the school wanting to pick up your child without sending a handwritten note or an email to 701SignOut@fultonschools.org, you will be asked to send an email while standing outside the building. After the email is received and your identification verified, staff will call your child for dismissal.

  • Free Online Tutoring for RTMS Students

River Trail Middle School has partnered with Ingenify in order to provide FREE online tutoring for our students. Many of the tutors are Northview High School students receiving community service hours, but parents can choose any tutor from the site. Parents can even filter by availability and subject. All tutors have at minimum a 3.7 GPA, and tutoring in all K-12 classes are offered. Additionally, all video conferencing is facilitated on the site through Zoom integration. Currently, over 300 hours of tutoring have occurred through Ingenify and over 150 students have received assistance. We request that a parent or guardian be present during tutoring sessions. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sarah Roberson, RTMS Graduation Coach, or Erica Waters, Northview Faculty Sponsor.
