    Meet the candidates-

    Johanna Pringle:

    Hello Ocee Community,

My name is Johanna Pringle and I am a mother of two wonderful children. For the past nine years, I've had the privilege of being part of this wonderful community where both of my children have thrived. As a public health researcher studying health outcomes for women and children, I have a broad understanding of child development, youth mental health, and programs and systems that support learning and development. I am eager to give back to a community that has supported my children and, take on a new role and contribute even more.

Please consider voting for me as your representative on the School Governance Council.

    Thank you for your support!

    Reema Singh:

Ocee has an incredible diversity and isn't just an educational institution; it is a community. The idea of "it takes a village to raise a child" resonates deeply with me.The teachers are more than just educators; they're mentors and guides. The parents are a constant source of support, a network of shared experiences and a helping hand whenever needed. For the past three years, I've had the privilege of volunteering at the school. There's a profound sense of satisfaction that comes from witnessing the children's growth and development. Being involved feels essential because we're shaping the future generation.Volunteering my time and expertise, fills me with a deep sense of purpose. As the head of AI technology enablement and governance,I understand the immense power of education. It equips children not just with knowledge but with the very tools to learn-a skill that empowers them to become lifelong.I hope to contribute to the essence of SGC and foster inclusive environment  to support all

    Goodluck Ukwuije:

Name: Goodluck Ukwuije; Place of birth: Nigeria; Occupation:  Quality Improvement Coordinator; Employer: Northside Hospital Atlanta. Education: MSc.IT, University of East London UK, BSc Sociology & Anthropology, Imo State University, Nigeria. Ocee Elementary has been an “otterly” amazing learning environment for 3 of our children (Chi, CJ & Zara). I would like to ensure that the school has all the resources needed to continue to perform. My wife and I packed up the kids, moved to Johns Creek in 2022 where we had no family or friends. OES played a significant role in making it so seamless. Just after the first week of school, the kids told us “Mommy and Daddy, you couldn’t have made a better choice”. I am honored to have encountered so many of the Ocee families, during the morning drop offs, Ocee events (i.e. All Pro Dads-Papa Otters, International), or the community (soccer fields, Church, even as neighbors). #Ocee#Otterly Amazing#Outstanding Character#Educational Excellence. Thanks!

    Vikas Kulkarni:

    Respected Teachers,

I (Vikas Kulkarni) am writing to express my interest in serving on the School Governance Council. As a dedicated parent and an advocate for quality education, I am deeply committed to contributing my time, skills, and energy to support the growth and development of our school. Professionally I am a SoftWare Engineer working for Morgan Stanley as VP.

Education is the cornerstone of a thriving community, and effective governance plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our school remains a place where every student can excel.
