A Remote Option for FCS Students in Kindergarten through Second Grade
FCS believes that face-to-face instruction is the most appropriate learning environment for early learners. However, we acknowledge that there is a myriad of concerns that parents navigate which necessitates a remote option.
The K-2 Remote Learning Program meets that need.
Students may attend this virtual instructional program which instructs the four Core Subjects (Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies). Classes are conducted by teachers who follow the FCS standard curriculum. Families who select this option are issued an FCS device and a hotspot if necessary. Parents commit to a full semester of attendance and provide adult supervision for their children during instructional hours. For more information, please email K-2RemoteProgram@fultonschools.org.
The K-12 Remote Program runs from September 7 to December 17.
PLEASE NOTE: Registration for this program closed August 20.
We are excited to open our virtual doors. On Thursday, Sept. 2, we hosted our online Family Welcome Meeting. These sessions were recorded and the information is distributed here for your convenience in case you were unable to attend.
