    About the MHS Hall of Fame

    The Milton High School Hall of Fame is committed to recognizing, preserving, and promoting the proud heritage of MHS since its beginning in 1921.  Many of our graduates, faculty, and staff have made extraordinary and noteworthy contributions and achievements in the fields of athletics, academics and education, business, service, and the fine arts.  Selection into this body is the highest honor that can be bestowed on an individual affiliated with Milton High School.  This Hall of Fame honors the contributions and accomplishments of these individuals.  It is established to create a lasting tribute to those who have brought honor to our school and community.  We have a tradition of excellence since 1921!

    Hall of Fame Committee

    The Milton High School Hall of Fame Committee is tasked with accepting and reviewing applications, selecting inductees, soliciting sponsorships, and organizing the inductee celebration and ring ceremony.  The committee is comprised of current and former faculty and staff members, alumni, current and former parents, and community members.

     

    Criteria for Selection

    Nominees must have exemplified, during and following his/her high school career and/or partnership, the pride, high character and spirit that is Milton High School.  Achievements may have been accomplished during and/or after high school.

    • ATHLETE:  If an athlete, the candidate must be a Milton High School graduate and out of high school for at least five (5) years. Recognition at the state, county, and region levels will be considered in addition to any post high school accomplishments.
    • COACH:  If a coach, the candidate must have coached at Milton High School for at least five (5) years.
    • EDUCATION/ACADEMICS/FACULTY: The candidate must have exemplified a contribution towards education/administration/academics.
    • BUSINESS: The candidate must have made significant contributions in the business world (i.e. leadership positions, honors, and/or recognition.) 
    • FINE ARTS: The candidate must have excelled and/or contributed to the fine arts (acting, music, band, visual arts, etc.)
    • PHILANTHROPY and/or SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICE:  The candidate must have contributed in a charitable way to his/her community in a significant and meaningful way.
    • DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD (D.S.A.): The candidate may or may not be a graduate or employee of Milton High School (and not categorized above), but has made significant contributions to the Milton High School community.
