I am very excited and grateful to serve as the new principal of Ison Springs Elementary School. I am honored to lead a school that is committed to Inspiring Success in Every Student. Together we will accomplish this by setting high expectations, providing supportive systems, and creating a positive school culture. I am very passionate about education and look forward to building a relationships to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, and high-quality school experience. I believe that by partnering together, we can make sure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.

This is my 23^rd year as an educator and my 8^th year in Fulton County Schools. I have also served in a variety of teaching and leadership roles in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Montgomery County Public Schools, and Dekalb County School District. Some of the roles I have held include classroom teacher, instructional coach/staff developer, curriculum support teacher, and assistant principal. My academic background includes an Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction, Management and Administration, Master of Science in Education, a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Development, and a Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership and Administration.

I am convinced that we are in one of the most exciting times in education. We have some of the best opportunities to engage learners, the community, and each other to continue to shape what teaching and learning can look like at Ison Springs Elementary.  I am devoted to continually exploring new ideas to meet the needs of all students and to interact with parents and community members more efficiently.
