About Student Discipline

  • Student Discipline Logo ​​​​​The Student Discipline Prevention and Intervention Department (SDPI) provides advice, resources and advocacy to ensure that our ever growing school district has a unified focus in providing a safe, nurturing and well-disciplined environment for all of our students and employees.

    SDPI supports school staff and administrators to build capacity and restoratively improve school climate and culture through positive behavior interventions and supports and fair discipline processes and procedures.

    Fulton County Schools' Student Code of Conduct & Discipline Handbook is available online in PDF format (click the link above). Once you have read the electronic version and have reviewed the contents with your student(s), please take a moment to complete the Acknowledgment of Receipt Form by using the provided link to access Infinite Campus' Parent Portal. Here is a link with instructions on how to complete the Acknowledgment of Receipt Form  (Link). All parents and students (over 10 years old) MUST sign this form found within your INFINITE CAMPUS PARENT/STUDENT PORTAL ACCOUNT. If you would like a paper copy of the Handbook, you or your student can pick up one in your school's front office.

    What's New for 2023 - 2024

    The district has recently implemented revisions to the Student Code of Conduct. Enhancements include:

    • The establishment of a uniform disciplinary response for certain Tier IV offenses.
    • New codes formulated in order to address prevailing behavioral patterns.
