Acrobat Reader - Software required to display PDF files. This software is free and is available by clicking HERE.

Area - Geographic grouping of school clusters. There are five areas, each composed of two clusters.

Business Objects - Business Intelligence reporting software. This is the software utilized to produce reports and enable analysis of the data in the Data Warehouse.

Cluster - The geographic grouping of schools based on feeder patterns. There are ten clusters, each containing one High School, and the Middle and Elementary schools that feed it.

CRCT - Criterion-Referenced Competency Test &endash; Georgia's CRCT are designed to measure student acquisition of knowledge and skills set forth in the state's QCC. The primary purpose of the CRCT is to provide a valid measure of the quality of educational services provided across the state. The CRCT has 5 subject areas &endash; English/Language Arts, Reading, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.CRCT Domain &endash; Each subject area of the CRCT has associated domains.

Data Elements - Operational system data fields that are used to populate the Data Warehouse.

Data Warehouse - An information collection, transformation, and distribution center that offers an organization access to critical information for driving, managing, tracking, and measuring enterprise strategies and processes. In other words, a data warehouse integrates data from multiple sources into one place for ease of use.

DB2 - Relational database 'engine'. This is an IBM software package that our Data Warehouse uses to store the data.

FAMIS - (Financial Accounting Management Information System) Accounting software employed by Fulton County Schools. Financial data is provided for loading into the Data Warehouse.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Question(s). Typically available on a website to provide helpful information to those using the website.

Feeder Pattern - Geographical grouping of schools. Students will be promoted to the next level school as defined by the feeder patter.

FIPPS - (Fulton Integrated Payroll Personnel System) Human Resources software employed by Fulton County Schools. Personnel data is provided for loading into the Data Warehouse.
