Northview Chapter
Science National Honor Society (SNHS)

This is an invitation only society. To be eligible to be invited to join you must be a junior or senior with the following qualifications:

minimum 95 average in science courses
completed at least 2 honors or AP science courses
enrolled in or have completed a 3rd honors or AP science course
participated in at least 2 competitive science events

Invitations will be sent mid-October.

Science National Honor Society Objectives

Encourage and recognize scientific and intellectual thought

Advance the students’ knowledge of classical and modern science

Communicate with the scientific community

Aid the civic community with its comprehension of science

Encourage students to participate in community service and in turn, encourage a dedication to the pursuit of scientific knowledge that benefits all humankind
