Centennial High School Orchestra
Trip Rules and Regulations
1. Students are expected to be neat and clean at all times. The CHS Dress Code applies at all times during the trip. Students will be expected to use good judgment in dress and appearance at all times.
2. The Orchestra will perform in our formal attire (tuxedo for boys and black dress for girls).
1. One small suitcase or bag and one carry-on bag. (Boys will share suit bags for tuxes. Girls pack dresses in personal luggage.) Each bag/suitcase must have an identification tag on the inside and outside. Bags will searched by Chaperones prior to departure from school.
2. Each student will need money for meals and snacks.
3. Each student is responsible for his/her instrument and/or equipment as assigned.
TRIP RULES
1. All CHS rules plus policies contained in the CHS Orchestra Handbooks are in effect at all times during the trip.
2. All Fulton County School Rules apply on this trip.
3. No Alcoholic beverages of any kind are permitted at any time – regardless of student’s age. Chaperones will check student’s luggage and rooms periodically and regularly.
4. No drugs are permitted unless prescribed by a doctor and noted on the student’s medical release form.
5. All medications (prescription or non-prescription) being taken MUST be indicated on the medical release form.
6. Absolutely no cross visiting of boys or girls in rooms at any time.
7. Loud noise, playing of instrument, radios, etc.. are not permitted in the hotel or on the bus.
8. Curfews will be reasonable and strictly enforced at all times. Students may not leave their rooms from curfew until morning. Bed checks will be made by the assigned chaperone.
9. Students are responsible for their own identification, money and valuables. It is recommended that students not wear jewelry in public.
10. Chaperones are in complete charge of the students at all times and have the authority to correct students and question behavior at any time. Students are expected to be polite and use good judgement in behavior.
11. Students must let their chaperone know their whereabouts if they must leave the main group. Students are expected to always stay in their groups and never to go anywhere alone.
12. Students may not leave the designated areas at any time.
13. Students are expected to be on time and to participate in all planned activities.
14. Students may not enter or ride in any motorized vehicle except those provided by the tour agency, or public transportation being used by the group.
15. Only radios/CD players with headphones will be allowed on the trip, and these must be played at reasonable sound levels so as not to disturb others.
16. Smoking will not be permitted at any time.
17. Picture ID should be on your person at all times.
INFRACTIONS OF THE RULES WILL RESULT IN THE FOLLOWING:
1. Immediate termination of the trip participation and/or the student’s confinement to his or her room.
2. Immediate notification of the student’s parents.
3. The student will be subject to the Centennial High School disciplinary action at school.
4. Mr. Kim reserves the right to send any student home for any infraction of the rules.
