“Fiddle Team Fulton!”

 

Violins, Violas, Cellos, Basses, Guitars, Mandolin, Banjo

 

Meeting:  Monday May 4, 2009  6:00 – 7:00p

Student and Parent must attend – You will receive information, schedule and music.

 

·                    Performing Old Time Fiddle, Blue Grass, Irish, Folk Music, Tangos, Blues, Swing, Jazz, Improvisation, Pop, Rock, Mariachi, Funk etc…..

 

·                    Past venues include: Tour de Georgia, Smith Plantation, GMEA Convention in Savannah, Symphony Hall for Atlanta Symphony and Music In Our Schools Month, Atlanta Country Club, Founders Hall, Roswell & Alpharetta Rotary Functions, “On The Bricks” Concert and many others including appearances with “Barrage!”.

 

·                    Learn How To Improvise and Do Back-up

 

·                    Perform with Friends From Other Orchestras in Fulton

 

·                    Performances already planned for next fall

o       Alive After 5 Roswell

o       Alpharetta Fun Fest

o       North Georgia Mountains for Georgia State Arts Association

 

REHEARSALS Next Fall:

Time:                        Mondays 6:00 – 8:00p.m.

Place:                        Alpharetta High School Orchestra Room

First Rehearsal:         Monday August 3rd, 2009

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be enrolled and a member in good standing of your school’s orchestra/band/chorus program.
