Sensei was born on January 17 in Niigata, Sensei came to the U.S. in 1996 to study English and education at a graduate school in Carrollton, GA. She started teaching Japanese in the same year to undergraduate students at University of West Georgia . Now sensei lives in Woodstock, GA, and is married to an American husband, and has a son. She enjoys skiing, doing calligraphy, playing the piano, and watching baseball (sensei is a big Ichiro [Seattle Mariners] fan!).
