Japanese Class Summer Suggested Activities

Good Japanese learners don’t just study to pass the class or for the tests.  School is over, but that does not mean that you stop learning Japanese!  Please expose yourself to Japanese language and culture as much as possible over the summer.  Let’s not waste this year’s hard work by forgetting everything over the summer…keep on reviewing and practicing with various Japanese websites and resources!  When you come back to school in August, you will find it a lot easier to adjust to class, and feel more confident in Japanese!

Below is a summary of suggested activities to keep you practice & learn about Japanese language and culture.  I know that you have many other activities planned to have fun during summer, but let’s also have fun brushing up your Japanese skills while you can!

Vocabulary review

Review your composition notebook.  Look at English side and quiz yourself to see if you can say the vocabulary in Japanese.

If your composition notebook is missing many vocabulary (you can find this easily from the checklist...check for sensei’s signature), it is your chance to catch up and do your work.
