Hello Milton Business Students!

The Room 4201 Computer Lab is open to Business Department students Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:50-8:20 a.m. and by appointment. The Computer Lab is CLOSED ON FRIDAYS. No appointment is necessary during regular lab hours.

COMPUTER USAGE POLICY:
• Students must restrict their usage of lab computers to course related purposes, as directed by the instructor.
• Students must not engage in the following activities while logged on lab computers: downloads, e-mails, chats, videos, or music.
• Students must not access inappropriate sites on the Internet.
• Students must not save documents on computer hard drives; all work must be saved on the drive designated by the school
  technical specialist.
• Students may not use or insert any memory sticks/flash drives into computer USB ports.
• Students may not access DOS or the BIOS.
• Students may not complete any computer work for this course EXCEPT on the school computer network, and in the classroom.
• Students must log off the computers once the daily assignment has been completed.
• Students may not shut down or restart computers without instructor permission.
• Students may not willfully circumvent the computer lab monitoring software.

Emerging Economies Project (Business Essentials)
As the Emerging Economies PowerPoint Project is coming to a close, we look forward to our class presentations. Presentations for some classes (Periods 1 and 4, where there were network problems on 3/26) will begin on March 28. Other classes will begin on March 27 (Periods 5 and 6 only). Therefore, the due dates for all presentations are March 27 and March 28 depending on your class period.

Any student planning on getting extra credit because they are dressing in business attire or in the traditional garb of their foreign country, must present on either March 27 or March 28. All presentations will be graded by the afternoon of Friday, March 30 (NO EXCEPTIONS).

Spring Career Tech Outside Reading Assignment
The outside reading assignment counts as a project grade and is worth 10%. The due date for the Spring book reports is Friday, April 27. There will be a book check in class and also an in-class reading day on Friday, March 30. Visit our Class Handouts page for assignment instructions or click here.

Starting Tuesday, April 17, students should bring their outside reading books to class daily. Students are expected to engage in reading whenever they finish the day's lesson before the end of class.
