Animal Doc
This site is maintained by the University of Georgia (Athens) Veterinary School. You'll learn how large animals are cared for by the veterinarians.

Caring for Pets
You'll find everything you need to know from selecting the right pet to learning how to care for your pet. There will be tips on pet health and how to choose the right veternarian for your pet.

Classifying Critters
Scientists have a special system to keep track of plants and animals. They don't want to confuse a dog with a coyote, or a honey bee with a killer bee. You will be challenged to classify animals into a category of species.
National Wildlife Federation
Founded in 1936, National Wildlife Federation is the nation's largest and oldest protector of wildlife. With more than four million members and supporters, NWF is committed to educating and empowering people from all walks of life to protect wildlife and habitat for future generations.

Kids' Farm
 Kids Farm is about animals and people that live and work on a ranch in Colorado.  It is a place for young children to learn about farm and wild animals, animal sounds, what grows, farm equipment and a wildlife rehab center.

Pacific Tsunami Museum
The goal of the Pacific Tsunami Museum is to promote public tsunami education for the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Region. The museum will also preserve the social and cultural history of Hawaii and promote economic development on the island of Hawaii as well as statewide. The museum will serve as a living memorial to those who lost their lives in past tsunami events.
Tropical Twisters
Most people associate twisters with tornadoes, but in fact tropical twisters come from hurricanes. Hurricanes are what scientists call "strong Tropical Cyclones". They are formed when large areas of the ocean become heated, and the air pressure over that area drops. This causes thunderstorms and strong surface winds.
