If you want to be a part of this program, you must accept the challenge of success. When all of the costs; money, time and effort, are calculated, the sum is inconsequential when compared to the outcome - a responsible young adult with a positive attitude, good self-image, and a strong work ethic.

Orchestra is a part of a great musical experience that is never forgotten. Because of its nature, close relationships will develop between students and between parents. The Director functions as a teacher as well as a counselor and musician.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many activities available at NHS. However, when students become unable to consistently honor obligations to one activity because of another, choices should be considered.
The Director's office door will always be open for individual problems as they occur, whether it is related to Orchestra or not. All conflicts can be resolved by the student, Director, and Coach or sponsor if the situation is addressed ‘before' a problem arises. It is the student's responsibility to inform the Director and Coach/Teacher of such a situation WELL IN ADVANCE.
