Orchestra Concert Attire

Gentlemen – Tuxedos

We will rent the tuxedos for the school year. The tuxedo rental fee will be in addition to the music booster association fee. The rental includes:

Tux jacket, pants, and wing-tip collar shirt

Student will purchase black bow tie to keep

Student should provide black dress shoes - and black socks

Students are not allowed to wear jewelry (other than watches) while they are in uniform and performing

Ladies – Black Evening Gown

The ladies will purchase (to keep) their evening gowns. The cost is comparable to the gentlemen's one year tuxedo rental. They may use the gown for subsequent years and, therefore, won't have to pay the uniform rental fee if they aren't getting a new gown. The outfit includes:

Evening gown

Student will provide flat (or very low-heeled) closed-toe black dress shoes and black stockings/hose for uniformity

Students are not allowed to wear jewelry (other than watches) while they are in uniform and performing

Ladies should not wear excessive hair ornaments

Once issued, the concert attire is your responsibility for the remainder of the school year. It is your responsibility to keep it clean (dry clean only) and in sharp, presentable condition. You will be responsible for the replacement cost if you lose or damage the attire.

* Students not wearing the appropriate uniform will not be allowed to perform. This situation will be treated as an unexcused absence from a performance. Please be responsible.

Uniform Fee

Each Orchestra member will be responsible for a rental/purchase fee associated with the formal concert attire. The exact amount will be available at the beginning of the school year (prices change).
