The Northview Orchestra Program welcomes you to the 2012-2013 School Year!
* News Flash *
The Northview Chamber Orchestra performed for the Georgia Music Educators In-Service Conference in January. It was the third appearance at GMEA in our eleven year history.
Congratulations to "ALL" Northview Orchestras - String, Concert, Philharmonia, and Chamber for receiving "Superior" ratings at the 2013 GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluation.
Congratulations to the Northview HS 2013 All-State Orchestra Students:
Michael Cao, Jee Soo Chon, Jee Won Chon, Tony Gong, Yi-Chang Jeon, Daniel Kim, Minjee Kim, Mishelle Kim, Francis Ku, Philip Lan, Chaeyoon Lee, Justin Lee, Kevin Li, Alice Lin, Joseph Pang, Joshua Shue, Patrick Wu, Lingyi Xin, and Andrew Zou.
These students performed with the All-State Orchestras in Savannah, GA in March.
The following students have been selected to perform with the 2013 Georgia Statewide Orchestra in April:
Steven Chiuo, Alex Deng, Jessica Hahn, Supritha Jegannathan, Aileen Li, Jasmine Liu, Jeffrey Ma, Kyung Min Shin, Nicole Sim, Eric Wang, and Jennifer Zou.
The Northview Orchestra program is proud to announce the names of our students chosen to participate in the Governor's Honors Program at Valdosta State University this summer. They are: violinists David Chyan & Sharon Kim. Congratulations to these outstanding students for their acceptance to this exceptional program – they will admirably represent Northview High School .
