The Fulton School Employees' Charitable Fund announces that $439,266.08 has been collected during its annual campaign drive. Although it is an 8% decrease from last year, the generosity and spirit of Fulton County Schools employees is appreciated during these difficult economic times. The following 21 not-for-profit agencies will benefit from the Charitable Fund’s collections:
AID Atlanta, Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, American Lung Association, American Red Cross, Arthritis Foundation, Atlanta Children's Shelter, Atlanta Humane Society, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Fulton Education Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Prevent Child Abuse Georgia (formerly Georgia Council on Child Abuse),Sickle Cell Foundation, Undesignated Fund of the Fulton School Employees' Charitable Fund, United Negro College Fund, United Way and the Visiting Nurse Health System
The top four elementary, middle and high schools are recognized for either having the largest overall contribution or having the largest increase from the previous year.
