Career and technical education textbooks and instructional materials being considered for future use in Fulton County schools are available for review starting January 27. The materials are for all middle schools and for high schools that offer Healthcare Science Technology courses.

Once adopted by the school board, the materials will be used in Business and Computer Science, Family and Consumer Science, Engineering and Technology and Career Connection classes beginning with the 2010-11 school year.

Materials will be available for viewing until February 19 at two locations: the school system’s Administrative Center, located at 786 Cleveland Avenue SW in Atlanta; and in room I-103 of the Milton Center, located at 85 School Drive in Alpharetta.

Parents, school system employees and community members are invited to review the materials and comment on their preferences.
