For the first time ever, the Teaching Museum North entered a float in Roswell’s annual Youth Day Parade – and came away with the first place prize in the junior division.

The 2009 theme was ‘Heroes,’ and the Museum capitalized on this theme by creating a float inspired by the Night at the Museum movies. Titled ‘Heroes Come Alive at Teaching Museum North,’ the float featured several recognizable and notable historical figures.
