Mimosa Elementary School’s fifth grade recorder and percussion ensemble has an exciting event in their future. The group has been chosen to perform at the Governor's Mansion on December 17.

For their performance, the students are learning several recorder ensemble pieces that incorporate four different types of recorders. They also working with hand chimes, rhythmic percussion, such as sleigh bells, drums and maracas as well as keyboards. Music teacher Kelly Fisher leads the ensemble.
