More than 50 FedEx volunteers worked all day at Oakley Elementary School on October 20 to create landscaping for the new school, which opened in 2007. Volunteers also spent time in classrooms to read to students.

Although the school already was beautiful, Oakley now has a fresh face to present to students and the Oakley community, with more than 100 newly planted shrubs and trees. The event was part of FedEx Cares Week, a national community service initiative of the company.
