Abbotts Hill Elementary School’s 10-year anniversary celebration on October 8 was a gas – a hot air balloon powered by bursts of gas, that is!

The event began with a presentation in the cafeteria that featured former and present students as well as milestones throughout the past 10 years. Afterwards, all students were brought outside to see the enormous hot air balloon, squealing excitedly whenever it shifted due to the wind. Each grade level unveiled its own special banner before heading back inside to sing their school song.
