Lake Forest Elementary School recently hosted a visit from Coca-Cola executives and employees who work in the Sandy Springs bottling center location.
More than 30 volunteers worked in classrooms, bringing school supplies and recess equipment for students. They also talked about the company’s new hybrid trucks and allowed students to tour one in the school’s parking lot. The event was part of Coca-Cola Enterprises’ global, companywide initiative called “CRS in Action Week” which informs youth about the importance of working together to preserve the environment.
Coca-Cola is the one-year-old school’s newest business partner. Following the visit, Coca-Cola delivered recycling bins and more school supplies for students. The company also plans to volunteer during Book Character Day at the end of October.
