Kindergarten students at Wilson Creek Elementary School got hands-on experience using their five senses during “Super Senses Day” on September 16.
Students rotated through learning center activities to experience each sense and enjoyed activities such as stepping in shaving cream, spaghetti and foam peanuts; making their names with Braille letters using Smarties candies; creating binoculars out of recycled materials; making a peppermint-scented air freshener; making cookies with sweet, sour, bitter and salty tastes, and designing a tambourine.
