Seven Fulton County schools will host special fairs in September to promote free tutoring services. The programs are being made available through the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act.
Schools in their second consecutive year or more of not making Adequate Yearly Progress must offer supplemental educational services – or free tutoring – to students. These services provide students extra help in reading, language arts and math, and are made available before or after school, on weekends or during the summer.
Qualifying students must attend the following schools and meet the criteria for the free and/or reduced meals program. Students enrolled in other schools are not eligible.
