The Campbell Elementary School media center recently received 50 new multicultural books from the “Book a Brighter Future” campaign sponsored by Macy’s and RIF (Reading Is Fundamental). Campbell’s RIF program is one of four in Georgia chosen to participate in the 2009 Macy’s SHARE project, which has raised more than $7 million for RIF during the past five years.
In addition to the new library books, Campbell students will be able to choose and keep many new RIF books this year. Janice Coley, Campbell’s media paraprofessional, has managed the school's RIF program for many years and was instrumental in Campbell being selected this year for Macy’s literacy campaign.
