opportunities for students
to have educational experiences that will support the development of
individual responsibility,
independent thinking, good citizenship and lifelong learning.
Statement of Philosophy
The administration, staff, and parents of

the student to be an effective and independent learner;

the student develop a positive attitude toward his/her physical self;

him/her acquire the skills and attitude necessary for effective participation
in a democratic society; and

him/her develop a sense of dignity and a positive self-concept while respecting
the rights of others and the dignity of all.
The
educational program must be structured to aid in the transition from childhood
to adolescence. In order to accommodate
individual learning styles, a variety of instructional strategies must be
utilized. Emphasis must be placed on
individualizing instruction in both academic and non-academic courses. Techniques must be utilized that will enhance
student motivation to achieve, and all successful experiences and
