Library Book Gift Program
--A list of books selected by the media specialist will be posted on the Woodland website and updated regularly. Review the list and select the book that you would like purchased in honor of a special person or persons (child, grandparent, friend, teacher, etc.), perhaps for a special occasion (birthday, holiday, etc.).
--Print out Contribution Form, fill it in, and send it back to school along with your contribution of $20.00 per book
Your contribution of $20.00 to the Woodland Elementary Library Gift Book Program will be recognized in the following way:
--A thank you note will be sent to you.
--The selected book will be purchased for our library. An Accelerated Reader (AR) test on this book will also be purchased for our school (if available and not already in our AR test database).
--After the book arrives, a book plate with name of person(s) being honored, special occasion, etc. will be placed in the front of the book
--When book has been processed, it will be presented and checked out to the Woodland student whose family made the contribution. Please note: The day that book(s) will be presented and checked out is dependent on order date, shipment arrival, and processing by volunteers. Books will not necessarily be presented and checked out to a student on or near the date of special occasion being honored. However we will attempt to deliver as close to the special date as possible.
