The GA Department of Education has established a website that will allow your child to take practice tests prior to the actual CRCT test in the spring. This website is available to all 1st through 5th grade students who will be taking the CRCT test in April. This website will help students practice test-taking skills and it will also help the students overcome some of the test anxiety that comes with the CRCT exam. We urge you to explore this site with your child!

A letter was sent home with all students that included their user ID and password that they will need to access the site. If you need that information again please contact your child's homeroom teacher.

On-Line CRCT Directions for the website

Go to http://www.georgiaoas.org. You will see two data boxes. You should type your child’s user ID in the top box and the student password in the second box. This will lead you to the second screen. You may have to disable your pop-up blocker when logging in to the site. The easiest way to do that is to hold down the CTRL key as you click on the Login button. Several times throughout this site you will be prompted with “alert” boxes. Answer “yes” or “okay” to continue.

• You will now be given several options to choose from. Choose the first or second option—"Take a Practice Test" or "Teacher Assigned Test."
• You will then be given the option of choosing from several different tests. Highlight the test of your choice.
• Now choose “Take Test.” The test will then begin. Your child should take the test independently, reading it by himself/herself.
• When your child is finished, he/she should press the “Grade Test” button at the bottom of the page. The computer will then grade the test and give you immediate feedback on each item. Please take a moment to review these items with your child.
