Vision Statement
The guidance and counseling program supports the academic, personal/social, and career development of students by providing strategies that will enable them to be successful within the school environment, the larger community and the world.
Mission Statement
As School Counselors we will impact Student Achievement through evaluative use of data in our delivery of Career, Social/Personal and Academic counseling services.
What does the program consist of?
The program consists of a variety of services and activities, including but not limited to individual and group counseling, parent, teacher and administration consultation, group guidance, information services, referral assistance to other programs and services in the community and student testing information.
Teachers may refer students to counseling by completing a referral form and placing it in the counselor’s mailbox. Parents may refer students by calling the counseling office and speaking to the counselor informing them of the problems they have concerning their child.
