Book Fair
The book fair was a big success! We reached
our goal of $12,000 in sales, which earned $3500 of
profit to buy more books and materials for our
students. Thanks to everyone who supported the book
fair and donated money to “One-for-books.”
Congratulations to David Walleyn, Michael
Youngblood, and Irene Lee who each won a $10 gift
certificate for the book fair. Thanks to all our
wonderful volunteers who helped with the book fair
and special thanks to Isabelle Goss, PTA Media
Chairperson, who organized all the volunteers and
the pizza dinner. One last thanks goes to Mr.
Wamsley, Dr. Barket, and the 7th grade
band and chorus for the fabulous concert!

Redistricting
Meetings Set For North Fulton
Three community meetings will be held in
October, November and December to discuss
redistricting for new schools opening in August
2009. Existing attendance zones at other schools
will be modified to create the new schools’
attendance boundaries. In North Fulton, a new
elementary school is under construction on
Birmingham Highway in Milton. Three meetings will be
held at the Milton Center from 7-9 p.m. to address
the redistricting process. The first meeting is
Oct. 23rd, with the remaining meetings on Nov. 13th,
and Dec. 10th.
Artists Needed!
Are you a Webb Bridge parent who loves to
paint? Webb Bridge is looking for parent volunteers
who would like to finish painting works by the
American Grand Masters on the walls in the halls.
If you have the time and the talent, please call the
school for more information at 770-667-2940. Thank
you!
Campus Beautification
In an effort to further beautify our school
grounds in time for special visitors in November,
the PTA would like to enhance the amphitheatre with
some landscaping. They hope to have some designs
drawn up by professionals in the next few weeks, and
would especially LOVE for a Webb Bridge parent who
may be a landscaper to give this a try. If you, or
someone you know (even a recommendation outside
of our WBMS family), is a great landscape designer,
please email Traci Heppler at
heppler@bellsouth.net, or Barb May
at
bmaycreativedetails@hotmail.com
right away! Thank you!

Affidavit
of Residence required
Starting this
school year, parents/guardians of all
students must submit a notarized Affidavit of
Residence form certifying that the family resides in
Fulton County. This applies to both current
and new students and will be required annually.
T
he
purpose of the Affidavit is to make sure that only
students who reside in Fulton County attend Fulton
County schools. Because of Fulton’s reputation as
one of the best school systems in Georgia, some
families living outside of Fulton attendance zones
have found creative ways to enroll their children in
Fulton schools. These families take advantage of
Fulton’s outstanding programs and services, yet do
not pay the taxes used to fund schools. The
notarized Affidavit legally verifies that all
children reside in their correct school attendance
zone, or have an approved transfer.
Click here and you will be redirected to Fulton
County Schools' main web page to download the most
current affidavit form.
