Mission: |
| Our over arching belief is in essence that the school belongs to the community and a large part of its success will be due to the work of the school council leadership team. The team is to be a cohesive force in the school that plans for school improvement in cooperation with the principal and other parent organizations within the school. |

Election and Terms: |
Elections are to be held in May of each year. Terms are for two years and may be staggered. No member (other than the principal) may serve for more than four consecutive years.
- The Principal is automatically a member.
- Teacher Representatives are to be elected by the teachers.
- Business Representatives are to be selected by the school council.
- Parent Representatives are to be elected by parents.
- Staff Representatives are to be selected by the administration.
- PTA Representatives are to be the PTA co-presidents.

Meetings are open to the school community (at 7:00 a.m.). Anyone wishing to make a presentation is asked to make his or her request at least 10 days in advance of the meeting.
