FALLS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS & NOTES

Placement Letter Information

Preparation for class groupings is one of our first priorities in preparing for a new school year. The 2009-2010 school year will bring new challenges to our school. The majority of the teaching staff for the new school will be surplused personnel, many of whom will be assigned from Summit Hill Elementary, as well as from several other area schools. Fulton County Schools is consistently at the forefront of having the best education professionals. Since everyone concerned will be new to the school and the community, including the principal, we will not have any information about teaching style. You can be assured that all of our teaching professionals will be high quality and outstanding. Letters naming a specific teacher will not be honored . As such, Mr. Trussell will entertain placement letters concerning two criteria.

•  If your child has a medical or health related issue.

•  If you want your child to be separated from another child. (i.e. children who do not get along, best friends who should not be in the same class.)

Please refrain from sending a placement letter which requests a teacher who is loving, caring, nurturing, structured, positive, or motivated. These are popular requests but our goal is to always have this type of teacher in every classroom. Placement letters should be an exception and not the rule . All placement letters must be post-marked no later than Friday, May 15th .

Please MAIL your letter to:

Ronald T. Trussell, Principal
Creek View Elementary School
3995 Webb Bridge Road
Alpharetta , GA 30005

In the bottom left corner of the envelope, please print BIRMINGHAM .
