Mrs. Kiné Geathers
Principal
Education: Mrs. Geathers received her undergraduate degree from Furman University, in Greenville, South Carolina. She also has graduate degrees from the University of Georgia and the State University of West Georgia.
Professional Experience: Mrs. Geathers began her career in Dekalb County. After two years in Dekalb, she moved to Fulton County where she worked at North Springs High School as a counselor and at Banneker High School as the curriculum assistant principal. In 2006, she became principal of Sandtown Middle School.
Hobbies and Interests: Married with one child, Mrs. Geathers enjoys reading, relaxing, watching sports on television, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Edward Smith
7th Grade Assistant Principal
Education: Mr. Smith received a B.S. in Education from North Carolina A&T State University; M.S. in Education and Administration from Troy State University.
Professional Experience: Mr. Smith began his teaching career at Eastway Elementary School in Columbus, Georgia. In 1995 he became an Assistant Principal at Georgetown High School in Georgetown, South Carolina. In 1996 he continued working as an Assistant Principal at Kendrick High School in Columbus, Georgia. In 1999 Mr. Smith became the Principal of Marshall Middle School in Columbus, Georgia. In 2001 he joined the Fulton County Board of Education as an Assistant Principal at Elkins Pointe Middle School; 2002 - 2004 he was the Assistant Principal at McNair Middle School; 2004 - Present he is the Assistant Principal here at Sandtown Middle School. Prior to Mr. Smith's career in education he served as an officer in the U.S. Army.

Hollis F. Bethea III
8th Grade Assistant Principal
Education: Albany State University, Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics
The State University of West Georgia, Add-On in Middle Grades Education Cambridge College, Master of Education in School Administration
Professional Experience: Westlake High School, as an In School Suspension Instructor for 2 years Oak Knoll Elementary School- classroom teacher for 5 years Benjamin Banneker High School, as the 10th grade administrator for 4 years Mr. Bethea has coached basketball at Banneker High School for the past four years, and enjoys playing and watching sports.

Dr. Connie Spellman-Reliford
Administrative Assistant
Education:Dr. Spellman received her bachelor's degree in Special Education from North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Dr. Spellman pursued and obtained her master's degree from Troy State University and her Educational Leadership Add-On from Kennesaw State University. She received her Doctor of Education degree from Nova Southeastern University in Organizational Leadership with a minor in Adult Education.
Professional Experience:Dr. Spellman began her teaching career at Camp Creek Middle School in 2002. In 2004, she joined the Sandtown Middle School staff. During her tenure as an educator at SMS she has been afforded the opportunity to work in numerous capacities. She is currently the 6th grade Administrator at SMS.
Hobbies and Interests: She enjoys reading, attending sporting events, and spending time with family.
