Keep reading this summer! Visit our public library and enjoy their free reading programs. Check out audio books to enjoy while you travel. Start a book club with your friends. We suggest that you keep a reading log so you can record the books you have read this summer. You can use this website to check for the corresponding AR quiz at River Eves. Accelerated Reader is a voluntary reading program for grades 2-5 designed to increase reading skills while earning points for incentives. After reading one of over 4,000 Accelerated Reader books available in the Media Center or public library, a child takes a brief quiz on the computer to check for comprehension. The child earns points based on his/her performance and the difficulty of the book. When the child's point total exceeds designated award levels described in the incentive program, he/she is awarded the specified rewards.
