Congratulations to our third and fifth grade students on their outstanding performance on the ITBS test!!  As many of you know, the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills was given to students in the third and fifth grades in September.  The scores have recently come back and our students did a wonderful job.  Gains were seen in all areas over last year’s performance.  Third grade scored as one of the top three schools in all of Fulton County, while fifth grade scored within the top five.  Scores are noted below.  Please take special note of third grade total language, fifth grade total math, and fifth grade total language.  These scores were ranked number one out of the entire County.  Please log on to our website for a visual representation of all the scores.

New Prospect is certainly on the right path to becoming the number one school in Fulton County.   With students, parents, and teachers working together, we expect great things from our students and even better CRCT scores.  Congratulations, once again, to our students for such excellent scores and to our teachers and parents without whom we would not have reached such great success!!!  

Parents of students in third and fifth grade should receive their individual scores in today’s papers in an envelope marked “Important Information for Parents”.
