Welcome to Dr. Wegner’s Warehouse, a web page of strategies tips and ideas for teachers and  parents.  There are many models for supporting students with disabilities depending on individual student needs.  The students here at Frank McClarin are fully included in general education classes.  My responsibility is to provide consultative services to support them and the teachers who teach them.  This web page is designed to provide information and strategies that will provide support and encourage advocacy for our young adult learners .  Students at McClarin may finish their education in a shorter period of time than in a traditional high school, but their education does not end here.  Our goal is to create life long learners as  John Dewey  once said :  “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself. “
