LIBERTY POINT IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE

This year we are pleased to introduce the Healthy Kids Smart Kids! This program teaches our students the importance of healthy eating habits, regular exercise and overall better health. Students will learn to read product labels and make healthier choices. Childhood obesity is a growing epidemic in our communities and sedentary lifestyles and poor eating habits contribute to this greatly. This program has been implemented throughout the entire Creekside cluster. We ask for your support and assistance as we promote a healthier lifestyle for our students. We have provided a few suggestions of acceptable food items to bring to school. We are asking that you please do not send cakes, cupcakes, candy, gum, soda, or any other unhealthy snacks. Healthy snacks include: baked chips, pretzels, air popped popcorn, fruits and vegetables, yogurt, 100% or natural just, most granola and breakfast bars. Don't forget to visit HEALTHY KIDS SMART KIDS for more information.
