Seaborn Lee Elementary School believes in fostering not only smart kids, but also actively healthy kids. Our program is not offered to replace recreational team sports student’s may already participate in, but as an additional resource to teach good sportsmanship. The goal of the SLES basketball program is to offer that same basketball instruction with a stronger emphasis on academics and character. This will create a solid foundation for our future student athletes as they progress to middle and high school athletics. We are lucky to have former college athletes, who are now staff at Seaborn Lee, to handle the coaching duties for our team. They are experienced and exemplify the definition of a student athlete. The Seaborn Lee basketball program consists of 15 co-eds from 4th and 5th grade. The team participates in the South Fulton Elementary Schools Basketball league and plays exhibition games from January to March with a Championship Tournament played in March.
