Graduation is every day at Independence High School. When students complete their Fulton County and state graduation requirements, they will receive a Career / Technology or College Preparatory diploma.

Students may elect to "Walk the Halls" on their graduation day after receiving their diploma. An announcement is made to the school that we have a graduation. If the student wishes to express any words of gratitude and/or announce what their plans are upon graduation, those messages will also be announced. Then the entire school stands in the hallways as "Pomp and Circumstance" plays over the loud speakers. The graduate is led by administrators through the halls while cow bells are rung, noise makers are blown and everyone applauds. It is truly an exciting and heartwarming experience for all.
